I've seen no discussion of probably one of the dumbest off season contract disputes of all time. Derek Jeter, a now mid 30s shortstop with no range, no power, and declining skills wants to be paid twice as much as Hanley Ramirez. Really? How are we not talking about this, and how are more people not calling him on his obvious bullshit. The Yankees $15 million a year for 3 years is more than what any team would ever be willing to shell out, and is frankly twice what they should offer him.
