Print, because I'm not in the 3rd grade or 1940's anymore.

I use a combo of both. There is also a bit of chicken-scratch thrown in the mix.

Did anyone else have teachers in middle school trying to tell you that you'd never make it in college if you didn't learn to write in cursive?

chicken scratch. if i'm writing so someone else can read it, it's small print. if it's just for me, it's scribble, but still more print. if i tried to write in cursive now it'd look like how i wrote in cursive in 2nd grade.

I write in a mix - most capitals end up cursive, most letters print.

And my middle school teacher who only accepted cursive stuff - she was a tool and quit doing that like 2 years later. I'm not even sure my little brother knows how to write cursive

[Edited on December 10, 2010 at 11:45 PM. Reason : If I'm writing a letter (they make mom feel special) I write cursive, for what it's worth.]

im the opposite, my capitals are print and the lowercase is just easier to flow with some 'cursivity'

ill be damned if i do a proper capital Q or I the way i was taught in 3rd grade

I still write in cursive but I find myself doing it less. I don't do that much of the "hybrid" style. A lot of people don't even remember how to write cursive

my handwriting is like print with letters strewn together like cursive. I blame it on left-handedness. I also practice writing cursive and print with my right hand when I'm bored, it's actually not so different.

I under-use caps

except when writing postal addresses, then I use ALL-CAPS because the USPS likes it that way

Always all caps so letters aren't mistaken and it's pretty much standard on drawings.

Sloppy print...with some capital letters mixed in there, but I don't know why I do that.

I write in cursive if other people are going to read it because I am the sloppiest writer I know when I write in print

its a good thing I am not a doctor...here is an article about how doctors' writing causes death

I write in print, but in all caps.

I took a drafting class in 9th grade, and ever since, I only write in all caps.

Print mostly. I get what people are saying about "forgetting" how to write in cursive.

When I took the GRE last year and had to write that statement in cursive, took me about 5 minutes to write the whole thing...trying to remember how all the letters look and flow together is hard!
