I figured out the thing about pizza hut thats special.

The cheese they use costs 13 dollars per stick in the grocery store which is probably why mom and pop restaurants don't use it. That cheese is bliss to me and ph is the only practicaly priced place in the us that offers it.

There are better pizzeria joints but they are all VERY expensive and i've only found one in new york one in chicago, some in little italy and 3 in la. None in the triangle. None in memphis.

When I lived in Japan, and I was homesick, I'd walk 20 minutes to the Pizza Hut, order a large stuffed crust pizza, and sit in the restaurant eating the whole thing and just decompressing. It was so peaceful.

this thread is futile... It all depends on what market you are in. Back home, Papa Johns was the best chain pizza you could get, by far. But when I would go stay with my dad in SC, Pizza Hut was where it was at. And now that I live in Raleigh, the only chain pizza I like is Dominos (Marcos is good for the price, and gumbys has good specialty pizza and good late night drunk meals).

look. it's the cheese that makes a pizza great. not the pepperoni, not the crust. the sauce plays a part of it, but it's the cheese that brings it all together, and ph has the best cheese, period. they've been changing the cheese as their previous supplier had lost some if its quality. i'm glad they did and they didn't even change the price. it has so much more value now. ph has been doing this for years, they know what they're doing. oh and the buffeet is fucking awesome. best value anywhere.
