The Discovery Channel has launched a full scale assault on the History Channel.

"Pawn Stars" is now to be matched with an even worse pun of a show, "Hardcore Pawn," on one of Discovery's affiliates.

"Ice Road Truckers" is being met with some Discovery show about Alaskan pilots who deliver shit to towns. The preview shows an intoxicated Alaskan grandmother saying, "The ice road truckers are a bunch of pussies."

And, as the most horrifying signal of them all, I just saw a Mythbusters episode that dealt primarily with Hitler.

This is it. The end times are here. Don't bother praying. It is too late to avoid the future that we fans of these networks hath wrought for ourselves. The best thing to do now is to wander outside into the cold in hopes that you freeze to death before the real atrocities start.
