I recently moved to Rochester, NY with my 2002 Toyota Solara SE V6 (117k miles, 5 speed manual). I've been facing a weird problem off late. Sometimes when I'm accelerating or just cruising on the highway I experience a small jerk like, feels like a momentary loss in power. It is of a very short duration. I've noticed this only happens when its snowing. I recently had the fuel system cleaned out. I bought this car used so I do not know if the fuel filter has ever been changed.
Rochester sells only E10 gas. Back in Raleigh I used to get avoid E10 like the plague. I dont know is that could be causing issues. I know for sure that there has been a 15% drop in gas mileage bcos of E10.. anybody know what the problem could be?

Does it have automatic traction control? Because that's what it kicking in would feel like.
