I am sure there are many exceptions, but not as many as there should be.

When I watched the video, the first things I noticed are:

1) The blood pouring down the sides of the bull
2) The gay body movements of the matador

in that order. (or in the opposite order?)

Then when the bull stabbed him, I didn't cringe physically or mentally (normally I would), instead, my mind thought "Oh, that must hurt [sub-thought: that looked cool in a way]... but he deserves it". No regard to whether he will be OK or not.
