i have seen chargers for alkaline (non-rechargeable) batteries on several sites. do they work, are they safe? on the batteries they warn against charging them, but these gadgets claim they are safe.

if they really do work and are safe, shouldn't battery companies be worried about their bottom line? thing is, though, that they are only sold in fringe stores and sites, never in mainstream stores/sites, so most people don't know about them.

I built a touch screen display that has only one purpose which is to search and display recipes and ingredients. Its in my kitchen.

Then at one point I built a computer for my car to load music and movies on to.
