could use some help from somebody. my ipod got unplugged without being ejected, causing my mouse drivers to corrupt. this has happened in the past and was remedied through microsoft tech support. unfortunately, they are closed, and i really need to use my computer tonight. i already uninstalled all of the USB ports and let them reinstall, but no luck...and whenever i plug in the wireless mouse it just says "device not recognized".

i've been looking online, but not much luck. Can anyone offer some insight?

after uninstalling the USB ports and the mouse drivers, use CCleaner to clean out the irrelevant Registry entries, then re-install everything
