OK so I am beginning to notice more and more that my laptop's performance is starting to suffer. I am not running more background programs than before, and haven't made any changes to programs (except constantly having to update fucking itunes in order to constantly update my phone ) to explain the decrease in speed. Is there something I can check to see WTF is going on? Even a reboot only seems to help a little, I am hoping there is some obvious item causing a problem that can be deleted. 1/11/2011 6:20:28 PM |

Check the memory of background programs that are running. Registry Keys also dont show up but still are getting bad. Parts wear out (motor on your HD) which causes some speed degregation. 1/11/2011 6:34:24 PM |

the most common cause for me having a slow computer was not updating my virus software....if the cause isn't viruses or adware you might just want to consider adding some more ram 1/11/2011 7:25:25 PM |
