... while you're inside your warm and cozy home.

DO NOT ATTEMPT

It will get jacked before you know it. Just ask my neighbor.

do the windows auto-up?

if so roll down the window, get out, lock door, hit auto-up, pull arm out before window finishes rolling up.

warm your car up in your garage with the doors down. You can even take a nap in the front seat until its all nice and cozy!

My car's remote start doesn't need the key and won't go without the key in the ignition, so this will never happen to me.

It would amuse me greatly to see my neighbor climb out the window of his car every morning to warm it up.

good call. I'll tell the wife to try it. (because as the woman she gets to drive the new vehicle everyday!)

i know good and well it could happen to me. hell, ive had my car stolen by someone i let borrow it
but i think the chances of someone taking it are pretty slim.
and im really cold-natured. like raynold's phenomenon cold natured. it physically hurts when i get cold.
i'm trying to get over that though

^You should get a remote starter. Being cold doesn't even really bother me that much and I still got one.

so is it still considered theft if you leave it running with the keys in it?

For some reason i want to say that i heard you were S-O-L if your shit is stolen while it is left running. Not sure why, but it doesn't sound right...

^^ can you get it for any car???

^i'm sure thats not right (ive heard that too).
hell like i said i've reported a car stolen after i let someone borrow it, so i imagine just leaving your keys in it wouldn't "negate" the charge.

This is the first car I've own with seat warmers and they are the best thing ever. I don't think I'll ever buy a car without them in my future car purchases.

I didn't particularly want seat warmers, but now that I have them it would make me very sad to have to give them up. Love those things.

You can buy them at car parts stores/on the internets/best buy etc. I bought mine at Circuit City and had it installed there.

I want the James Bond remote starter where the car swings by my front door and I dive into the window as it goes by, minimizing my exposure to the elements

Update:

So, they haven't caught the guy yet, but they have a very good description on him. Was a young black male in late teens or early twenties around 5'10. He was seen riding a bicycle around the neighborhood earlier that morning. Wearing light brown coat and a book bag. He actually borrowed a neighbors cell phone to call home, claiming that he missed the bus and could not get to school. So, they have a good description on him. Now it's just a matter of finding the car (a minivan) and perpetrator.

I've heard that you aren't supposed to warm up your car longer than like 10 seconds.

Unless you have an old beater or you live in subzero temps.

Who the fuck steals a minivan? If I'm going to jack a car it is going to be a corvette or something similar.

i have to assume you are retarded - they meant to open the door with the window down - get out - close the door - lock the door by reaching inside the window - hit the window up button and get your hand out of the way
