Just got an email about this, Im kind of interested in it. Here's the details in case any of you are as well.
Quote : | " Two different sections. You can join either of them -Tuesday 5:30pm-7:30pm -Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm Starting 1st and 3rd February for Tuesday and Thursday sections respectively. The meeting room is going to be the meeting room of GTI( 2nd Floor Harrelson). However, there is a chance that it may change. The place/time is going to be announced when it is finalized.
The class is free. But the textbook is charged which is $10.The textbook is "Yabanci Dilim Turkce" which is not available in USA but we are trying to bring from Turkey.(We have already a number of that book.)
Anyone who is affiliated with NCSU can participate.
The teachers are graduate students at NCSU.But they have some experince on teaching Turkish Language.
The class is unofficial. It is just for fun!.
You are not supposed to have any pre-knowledge in Turkish language, however if you believe you know some basics of the Turkish language, don't worry we (can) have another class which is for Intermediates. You can join that class.
If you are interested in the Turkish Class, you just need to fill up the following form and send it via an email and then show up in the first class . ncsu.turkish@gmail.com

Full Name: Designation: Student / Faculty /Staff Department: Email address(Please ncsu affiliated email address ): Pick up one of the followings as the meeting date: Tuesday 5:30pm-7:30pm Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm
