That's why two have sold in 24 hours at $900 a piece son.

Looks like my Funk has gone up in value significantly.

Actually, they don't. Only in the sense that Geo Metros do the same thing Ferrari F430's do.

You know, it's funny that we go around in circles on this issue. Everyone claiming this stupid shit is a hypocrite. They own something which performs more than the absolute bare minimum required to barely get by. I take it you use the city bus? It does the same thing as a car, you know, it drives down the street from point a to point b.

You do live out of a cardboard box, right? It's shelter, just like any other shelter it keeps you out of the rain.

You do have a 10 year old computer, right? It does the same thing as a brand new $2000 computer, you know, it simply computes.

You do eat dog food everyday, correct? Food is food, it provides nourishment.

^^ That's a pretty poor analogy. A Jens Anso knife is not equivalent to a shitty car which has been dressed up. It's the top of the line in terms of everything. Your analogy applies to something like a Doug Ritter Griptilian with Wilkins Grips. Now that is equivalent a Ford Mustang with thousands in upgrades. In that case you've taken an $80 knife and turned it into a $350 knife that you can't get your money back out of. In the case of a Jens Anso, the knife simply goes up in value over time. Mine has literally gained about $150 in value.

^ My point is that it's the bare minimum required to get by. If these people actually lived by the rules they seem to think they play by, they wouldn't own a car.

Then why waste your time posting here? There are plenty of people who care about it. Hundreds of thousands, to be exact.

That is correct. It's also interesting that it's called an obsession. You can post daily about a game you play, it's not an obsession. I can post a couple times a week about knives and it's an obsession all of a sudden. Basically there's a bunch of hypocrisy going on here. I enjoy it though, it demonstrates how totally lacking most of you are in terms of self awareness.

they might care about knives, no one cares about you

also

your defensiveness indicates some kind of strange sensitivity about the subject which indicates some type of guilt, perhaps for knowing that your "interest" is actually an obsession.

Not sure where you've read that into my statements. Simply stating that one shouldn't waste time looking at things one doesn't care about is being defensive? Try again, troll son. You forget how long I've been around here.

What do you think I do with knives?

^ Question. Do you actually understand what the materials in these knives are? I mean, if a blade was just painted like this, I'd say it was "tacky", but it's damascus steel. To forge two types of metal into patterns like this is not, in any way, easy.

Oh no, no no. Fantasy weapons are garbage that don't actually work. Any knife you see me post works like a motherfucker. Jeremy Marsh knives are very ergonomic. Some are pure fighters, others are actually quite utilitarian, like the one I posted in here.

The Jens Anso knives are EXTREMELY utilitarian. In fact, they work better than just about any other knives I've owned or handled in a lot of tasks. Most of Jens' knives are wonderful for food prep and basic cutting chores, as well as fighting. He designs multi-purpose knives, but ergonomics are his main focus. The knives form follows their function, not the other way around. Fantasy knives are form only, no function. Most of these knives are the opposite of that mentality, just with the highest end materials available.

Then there are folks who design knives which are more oriented towards cutting wood. The grinds really make a huge difference. You've got to know what you're looking at to understand what its intended function is.

What's funny is that those events happened because of 100% compliance on the part of an entire aircraft full of people. It would have been very easy to overpower a couple dudes with boxcutters, but nobody thought they were going to be flown into buildings.

Box cutters suck for real knife tasks btw. There's a reason they're called box cutters, they cut boxes, that's it pretty much. A good knife cuts boxes and a whole lot more. Why does everyone think knives are solely weapons btw? Every one of you uses knives on a regular basis, yet none of you have used one for fighting or self defense. 99% of knives are tools first, weapons second (If at all).

Well then the boxcutter wasn't what enabled that to occur, was it?

It was the threat of annihilation of the entire aircraft combined with the promise of survival that allowed the 9/11 attacks to occur, not boxcutters. Thus, the original post is flawed. Thank you for making my point.
