I've always wondered what sort of effects it would have chemically on the brain. Can it deplete any neurotransmitters? What effect does it have on depression? If you don't do it enough, doesn't all that backed up sperm(or female secretion) make you craycray?! I looked in here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masturbation (interesting article btw if you've never looked it up) but I've found nothing really on the subject. Someone out there must have some knowledge on this.

Prolactin, the hormone supposedly responsible for that sexually satisfied feeling after sexual acts, counters the effects of dopamine. Dopamine is a pretty important neurotransmitter. It seems like throwing that off often (once daily) might have some effects on your chemical balance. Am I wrong? I've definitely noticed a difference when I only do it once a week or so. The most I've done it is twice a day and that definitely wasn't healthy, for a few reasons... that I'm sure a lot of you are already familiar with.

First and foremost, I don't think gone an entire week since I learned how to jerk it, even during times when I was having sex regularly. I disagree that twice a day is unhealthy. Sometimes, you're that bored.

Wouldn't we be the ones failing at life, since we've wasted so much time playing with ourselves?

How do most people misspell masturbate?

I know the common failure with ridiculous ("rediculous"), but not masturbate son.

prolactin may or may not specifically interfere with the DDR2 receptor complex, but too much of anything is a bad thing.

bust a nut every other day and you should be fine.
