I have about 1500 dead ladybugs in my house every year that I have to vacuum up.

And they smell terrible.

I purchased these ladybugs to use as my daughter's 2nd birthday party favors. They shipped very fast and were all alive when they arrived. I had to keep them refrigerated for almost a week (I had no idea they would be here that fast or I would have waited to order them). They hibernated just fine and were all alive minutes after I took them out. They shipped to my PO Box rather than home address though so that could have been bad had I not been tracking them. Overall I am very satified and would definately recommend to others. They made all the kids day so it was well worth the trouble.

So what did you have 1500 kids at the birthday party or did you give every kid 100 ladybugs?

I ordered these bugs for my daughter's LADY BUG THEME first birthday party. They arrived in the little plastic container with straw. I ordered on a Sunday night, they arrived on Wednesday and the party was Saturday - that was perfect timing. I just kept them in a cool dark place in their plastic container until the party. I used a big clear vase (making a lid - making sure there is plenty of ventilation, lid was straw) and decorated it with little wooden and plastic lady bugs. At the end of the party kids took home a few lady bugs they could put in a "lady bug to-go container" I provided. We set the rest free. The kids thought it was awesome to set them free in their own garden. *Please note that putting lady bugs in a small container is like herding cats....

oh these are comments.

Anyway, it's people like this that force me to clean up hundreds of ladybug corpses every year (actually it's all the christmas tree farmers up here but I'm still pissed about ladybugs)
