tonight I am trying to record american idol 8-9, CSI at 9 and the office at 9 (all of which should be no problem). however the time for american idol is 8:00 - 9:01 so it screws up recording those two shows at 9. is there anyway to not record the last minute or 2 of idol so i can get my 9 oclock shows?

its twc. i can adjust the start and end time of recordings but it will only let me start recording earlier and end recording later, which doesnt help

just cancel one of the recordings until idol goes off
then at 9.01 record one of the other shows
