Right.... Ever tried to carry around a ceramic knife and use it for anything other than food tasks? Have you ever dropped a ceramic knife? Do you know anything about knives besides the fact that you can cut vegetables with a ceramic kitchen knife? I prefer my knives to be made of ductile materials, not brittle materials. Also, if you think your cheap ceramic knife is sharper than my Jens Anso Funk you're out of your mind. You can't even look at the Funk without being cut son.

^^ Yes, that is normal. It moves over with time, if it starts out at full engagement it will wear out more quickly. Early lockup is preferred as long as it's not extremely early.

Yes, in the first two photos the top knife uses carbon fiber, bottom uses lightning strike carbon fiber. Basically, if CF doesn't provide enough bling, LSCF is for you.

Carbon fiber is nice, son--mad nice--but I'm not sure if I like the mixture of design elements in those knives. Having a tight, uniform weave on the handle clashes with the flowing plasma-like waves of the damascus. It's like two totally different worlds colliding.
