I have a 80GB ipod video that works fine except that when I [plug it into the computer there is no response to the device, therefore i cant add and remove tracks because Itunes wont repsond to it

if anyone can either repair this for me or recommend a business or person that can do it because im pretty sure it needs a hardrive

Try plugging and then unplugging a device (like a powered on printer) into the usb port next to it. That's what I have to do to get it to recognize my nano.

There could be some lint stuck on the connector.
