I'm in love with my pair of 10" LL Bean Maine Hunting Shoes. Waterproof, warm enough for whatever cold we get around here, unbelievably comfortable, and I can still dress relatively nice while wearing them without looking like a dick (the same cannot be said for those muck boots).

As far as pure utility goes, I'm sure there are better and more specialized boots out there, but for most people they can do whatever is needed.

Plus, they're cheap. I can dickride duck boots all day.
