Have you not booted into the BIOS with the DVD drive connected and changed your boot order so that it boots from USB instead of HDD/DVD? 2/8/2011 6:47:18 PM |

I have an Inspiron 6000 with the original DVD drive...it's not a dvd burner but it doesn't look like you need that. Let me know if you need it 2/8/2011 8:16:53 PM |
