just remember that if youre already living with your fiance (which I highly highly recommend before getting hitched), nothing really changes. The day after our wedding AlliePaige and I looked at each other and asked if we felt any different, we didnt. Its just like adding a legally binding label to your relationship

if you already are engaged and you are looking at september, 8-9 months isn't really a short engagement... I would consider under 6 months short

Sadly, wedding planning goes up until the day before (if not the day of).... The week before the wedding involves finalizing a lot of stuff with caterers and the day before involves decorating among other things. Wedding planning = gigantic, stressful situation (unless you have a planner I guess)
