He was just probably just going to shoot a film for Mike in Brazil or something and next thing you know he’s stuck behind 3 hours of bike traffic and late for his deadline. Frustrating as hell. Something had to give. In this case he just decided to run everybody over. Again I’m not saying it was the right move, but I know where he’s coming from. Bike riders think they run shit. Sometimes you got to teach them a lesson.

and even when it does have nothing to do with critical mass, very few bicyclists abide by the law when they ride. And I do mean VERY few.

thats what they are supposed to be doing, acting like they are a car. it would be easier to share the road if they all obeyed the law. Instead they have to run red lights, meander through halted traffic ridin up on your blindside, etc

^^Yup- I have yelled at bikers before for riding recklessly. if you drive on the road, you must obey the laws of the road. Meaning not running red lights, not driving between cars, and especially coming to a stop at a stop sign. Mother fucker tried to cut in front of me (not on a cross walk or pedestrian crossing) and I ended up hitting him, albeit at a low speed, and that cock sucker tried to get an attitude with me. I put my truck in park, got out and scolded him about how he was in the wrong and I would gladly wait for a cop to get there, write up an accident report, show who was at fault, and then have him pay for a dent in my bumper. He shut his face and continued on. I hope my yelling at him got him to stop driving like he owns the road.

At my old residence I lived literally 2 miles from work. There was some back roads I could catch and only have to cross a major road twice. Factoring in having to park my car in the middle to back of the parking lot (since I come in after the shift workers arrive) riding my bike only took about 5-10 mintues longer.

Even better my gym and Food Lion were not even a mile away. I could bike to the Food Lion quicker then it took to get in my car and get rolling.

I enjoy biking recreationally and for practical transportation purposes. Nonetheless this Critical Mass shit is stupid.
