I'm looking for a HP,Dell,Gateway etc computer, not interested in the home-builts for this application. Needs to have a dual core processor, preferably something like a Core 2 Duo (Pentium Ds are a little old for this).

Lemme know what you have and how much you would want for it.

I have a HP workstation. 1.8Ghz C2D, 8GB of RAM, 80GB 5400RPM drive, and a XFX dual DVI card. Geforce 6xxx series I believe, don't quote me on that. Also upgraded the DVDRW to 24x, if that matters.

Also have a 24" P-MVA panel available and wireless mouse/keyboard from microsoft. I'm sellin' everythang

Forgot to mention is has the requisite XP Pro COA on the bottom, but I don't have the disc. I can include my copy of XP64 if you'd like. It came from technet, so it's on a DVD-R. I also have a copy of Vista Enterprise 64-bit floating around; but if it was me I'd go Win7 or Ubuntu.

Tallied up the estimated values from ebay; looking like this should go in the $250ish range on the buy-it-now level. Open to all offers.

The exact box I have is used on ebay for $140ish. Without the graphics card or extra RAM. $250 was for the box. Monitor is probably worth around $125. Excellent color reproduction, faster response time.

Whatever, post some offers. Worst I can say is nope.

I'm not trying to make your stuff sound bad but...... yeah don't buy that crap from him man. First off using terms like 8gb ram or 80gb hard drive, graphics with dual DVI!!! all means nothing. You need to know speed and series to know performance. That core 2 duo being a 1.8ghz is the first generation and is, well, very crappy, his ram is definitely only ddr2, and for that processor its going to be running at slow speeds and timings. If you'd like you can send me a message with how much your trying to spend and I can tell you what you can get these days, and not old crap, but actual current high speed stuff that will still be considered quick 4 years from now.

lol, didn't know someone was going to get all pissy just because I listed all the relevant information. It's not like I'm trying to upsell, I'm just laying out whats in the box. All information I'd want to know if I were purchasing a used PC. These come stripped down, 2GB of RAM, onboard graphics, etc. I work all day in CS5 so I threw in a 64bit operating system, plenty of RAM and at the time the fastest low-profile graphics card with CUDA that you could buy (sans Quadro.)

Here's what I came to post in the first place...

glad rindos came in here to offer professional PM services.

I mean seriously, the information surfer posted is absolutely irrelevant when wanting to buy a computer.

RPM, COA, and P-MVA are just acronyms scammers and QVC employees use to confuse the public.

I wasn't trying to be a dick or anything just saying that that computer is severely outdated. I saw very similar ones sell for like $80 last year, but I guess it depends on what synapse is trying to do. Most people don't really need too much performance.
