I always sang "lady stands." But I recently wikipediaed it, and it appears that the canonical version of the line is "ladies dance." I feel like a real dumbass, since apparently I have been missinging this song for 25 years.

I learned it from an episode of the office a couple of years back where Andy drunkenly sings it on a sitar (or something similar), and Angela says something along the lines of, "Stop, that's disgusting...France..."
