I don't have a photo, but a peanut butter based spaghetti sauce on pasta with cabbage, carrots, onions and meat looks horrible, but is actually better than you'd expect... if done right. But still, I'd pass if other real food was available.

I just had the second person in a week come up and tell me my lunch smelled amazing, and it was one of the things pictured itt.

Honestly some of my favorite foods are the type that no matter how well you plate them or arrange them they'd still look kind of unappetizing. I am not a very visual person in that respect.

i was coincidentally just reading the other 365 recipe thread and thinking about the pictures

and i'm not laughing at you, Skwinkle - because i have tried some of your recipes and tips and they have all turned out wonderful so i have confidence that you are a wonderful cook!!

i'm just laughing at the premise of the thread - because sometimes when i look at pics of food posted in that thread (or shit, pics of my own food i take to put on here or FB to show what i made) i'm like, "wow...if i didn't know how good this tasted, i wouldn't eat it based on this picture"

but this thread did make me lol
