When I graduated we had over 60 guys. The chapter declined b/c too many people joined that didn't want to give anything back. They didn't contribute and losing the house is what happens when nobody gives a shit and your numbers drop. I've heard good things recently though, they've been recruiting good guys and I think they're back up over 50 right now. If they keep it up like that for a few semesters they'll have a proper house again.

They've always been viewed as a joke by everyone else. Losing their dwelling only served to cement their status at the bottom of the barrel.

he fronted the money and used various tax write-offs. he didn't let the chapter have it for free. that's why it looks the way it does and not like a traditional house.

That house didn't help TKE's situation. That house sucked. It was like living in an office building. We were told we'd have a lot of input on the design before construction...almost a complete lie. Living on Frat Court was way better, even with dealing with university BS.
