This data is split, firmly, into hispanic and non-hispanic. If you're black and hispanic, for the case of these data, you're in the hispanic group.

I guess they got the data they wanted out of the last census. IIRC 3 out of 10 questions dealt with whether or not you were Hispanic. It's like it was the only thing they cared about. Number of adults in the home blah blah blah blah ARE THEY HISPANIC?!?!?!?!

In doing family research you can actually learn a thing or two about your ancestors from old census data. 200 years from now your descendants will only be able to use the last census to tell whether you were Hispanic.
