What do you do about it? My elbow feels like it's on fire most of the week because of tennis, golf, bball, etc. 4/1/2011 12:30:31 AM |

Learn the proper technique. Seriously. I'm not trying to be funny or mean but at least in tennis if you get tennis elbow it's because you're doing it wrong. Your form isn't correct so you compensate by using the muscles in your forearm more. I played tennis for years and never developed that problem. You can pretty much predict if someone's gonna get it by watching them play. I suspect the same is true with golf. IDK about bball though because I don't play it.
I was on the road to getting tennis elbow from running a chainsaw for long periods of time. I learned how to handle a chainsaw properly/more efficiently and it's not a problem now.

I've got racquetball elbow. Except it's not pain on the outside. It's on the bicep. 4/1/2011 8:32:39 AM |

they have these velcro straps you can wear while you play, it has a little air pocket thing that keeps pressure on a forearm muscle, it helped me but the bubble will pop eventually

If you're getting tennis elbow from tennis, you might want to take a look at the type of racket you're using. If your racket is too light, it's really easy to overextend as you try to crush a ball.
I had issues with tennis elbow because my racket was 9.7 oz unstrung. I picked up and started to play with a heavier racket and it has helped out a lot. I also wear the velcro strap that you put around your forearm and it's also helped a lot. 4/1/2011 4:35:03 PM |

^You might be right. If my penis is too light, it's really easy to overextend as I try to crush a box. 4/2/2011 11:25:45 AM |
