What is your opinion on the phenotype of mixed (biracial) people? I was thinking about making a thread out of this, and I still may.

The question that i have been pondering lately is that out of the half dozen mixed people that I know, their phenotype depends more on the race of the mother than anything else. So if you take a white-asian mix, if the mom is white then they look white, but if the mom is asian then they look more asian than the other mixed baby.

Same thing but even more so with White-Black mixed babies. If the mom is black then for the most part they look black. However, if the mom is white then they look white than the other mix. Why do you think this happens when both the mother and father contribute the same number of genes to the zygote?
