I, too, find myself caring a lot more when girls are involved.

The only time I am nice in the office is when a girl is at my desk, which is actually more often than it probably should be. I am definitely a hoes before bros kinda guy, and I am seriously trying to fix that character flaw.

there are good and bad things

the parking is TERRIBLE. if you plan on having people visit you at all. dont' live here. my neighbors are fucking doucebags. the front office people, while very nice, don't do fuckall about it.

the gym is pretty sweet though. and for the price, the apartments isn't bad. my room is not very big..... but i mean EVERYTHING is included and it's less than 500 a month.

i mean if parking were better and i didn't have the neighbors from hell i'd give the place 5 stars.

definitely ask to live on the 3rd floor if you live here. and don't plan on throwing any parties.

everyone goes to apartments.com to pretty much bitch about a bad experience, but nobody really uses it as a legit source of info to check out places, but it's actually not that bad

most apartment complaints are the same things again and again
1) thin walls
2) noisy neighbors
3) stomping above / below
4) music
5) dogs barking / pet poop nearby
6) parking
7) inattentive or incompetent staff

Generally speaking major complexes are built with toxic paper thin Chinese drywall so expect a full-stereo acoustic of your neighbors bwning and stomping above/below, and always expect inattentive and stupid staff since they're mostly paid by getting a discount rate on living on premise rather than a fat paycheck. Or they're just failed real estate agents.

If I could do it again, I would do what I am doing now which is find a house or at least something built out of solid material pre-war that's not paper thin drywall, and always live on the top level for sure.

New topic: Rembrandt toothpaste

I used it for about six months, and I was wondering if this whole "whitening" thing actually worked, and it turns out that it does. It just took about six months. I highly recommend Rembrandt.

I need a white smile because I am getting a new place down in FL! BALLLLLLLLERRRR

You would be incorrect.

However, you're on the right track.

Additionally, the flora are jizzing all over my candycoat paint. I am so sick of this. Can the trees just fuck already and get it over with. Do I indiscriminately jizz on them? How is this fair in nature?

My botany prof was a real asshole. He was such a horrible teacher, and I don't even remember his name. Everyone seemed to love him, but I always thought he was a douchelord. He's since retired, but he was a fucking idiot. He was a mycologist. Trying to remember his name. But most importantly, he was like a stupid version of the Waterboy's take on Colonel Sanders prof in the movie except less grandiose in his southernness yet more obnoxious.

Lived there for 2 years and enjoyed it for the most part. The office staff is pretty helpful if anything comes up (GF had some shitty neighbors down stairs). Not sure what DDK is talking about, we had several parties with 60+ people crammed in a 2nd floor apartment, just make sure you talk to your neighbors first (common sense to considerate people). Parking isn't that bad as long as you plan ahead, we usually parked in a visitor spot to save it for guests that we knew were coming.

^ the fact you even have to do that is annoying imo. then again I work late and by the time I get home all visitor spots are taken

^I'm not saying their parking is adequate, I'm just saying it isn't a deal breaker. It helped that a majority of my friends and gf lived in the same complex.
