blah blah blah. Our corporate income tax is one of the highest in the world. Significantly higher than pretty much all of Europe, Canada, Japan, China, etc. It's one of the primary reasons we are losing not just manufacturing, but also service sector jobs to overseas relocation.

The effective corporate tax is pretty low compared to the rest of the developed world. And we're losing manufacturing because automation handles most of it now and what isn't handled by automation is handled by third world countries with no labor laws. We can bring manufacturing back easily if we just start treating workers like dogs.

bad decisions arent exclusive to the poor. However, bad decisions will usually bring one to being poor or keep one poor, esp if you continue to make them.

There are a lot of people who made a ton of money or won the lottery who are later poor and bankrupt. Some recover, others do not. I guess you can say Mike Tyson made smart decisions with his fortune, MC Hammer, Bernie Madoff? All were FAR from poor, but not immune to the consequence of their actions.

This isn't a FREE country if I'm PAYING taxes and never owning anything, now is it?


It goes to poor people, I don't own poor people
It goes to government workers wages, I'm not their boss
It goes to road construction, yet it's only a "privilege" to drive on them.


People with no jobs and 100% free time, and are not disabled, are getting a free rides for living in "poverty" and are eating , have power, water, clothes, cellphones, and enjoying life a lot better than me working 128 hours a week.
