My family almost got conned into buying the Encyclopedia Brittanica sets for me to make me smart. That certainly failed.


Then Microsoft Encarta came out, and I was able to directly copy and paste reports for extra credit.

I'm sure another collaboration will spring up eventually. A lot of the articles were saved via cache but the owner of OhInterNet says she'll sue if they end up on another site. Where there is demand, someone will supply.

Well, it's "clean" now. I don't know if it's a copyright violation to sue for work created on your website by other people but it does look like it's getting neatened up to sell.

That's a good point. She probably just did it for the lulz.

Speaking of which, my favorite edit of æ that is long gone was from the did it for the lulz article.

It wasn't anything special. They took the lyrics from "Let's hear it for the boy" and didn't change a thing except replacing "Let's hear it for the boy" with "I did it for the lulz" in the chorus. For some reason, I couldn't stop laughing and still think of that part when ever I hear the song.
