Assuming you actually didn't, let me break it down further...

When the season ended last year, the one saving grace of our shitfest that was Panther football is that we were going to get Andrew Luck. Then he decides to stick around, which in most circumstances wouldn't have been horrible, because we still had the #1 pick, and could do something productive.

And then we go and waste it by buying a lottery ticket in Cam Newton. For example, last year's top 2 picks were Sam Bradford and Ndamukong Suh, either one of which would have been money for us this year.

(I'm hoping you were just feigning ignorance, but I'd hate to take any level of intelligence for granted on TWW.)

because we are not sure how he is going to transfer in to the NFL- is he going to be a Micheal Vick or a Marcus Vick? His arm and passing decisions are suspect, and everyone thinks we could have waited and gotten a better QB (I still think in the long run Jake Locker will prove to be a better pro QB- but that is just me).

I don't hate newton- I just think we should have gotten Von Miller and seen what we could have done to get a Kolb or Palmer and go after Luck or another young QB next year. But we all have opinions and opinions are like buttholes, etc etc etc
