My Creative Live! isn't compatible anymore, and I gotta do some video lessons (guitar) soon, need something at least 640x480 30 fps

ive got a Microsoft Lifecam Studio. $60 for webcam only (no box or manual)

I got a logitech C200. barely used. does 640x480 30 fps

I've seen bad reviews but that cam takes the cake

^^don't knwo what that means... I never had any issues. i'll hook it up again and check. do they mention what went wrong?

I use a lifecam 5000. HD 720p, 60fps peak. I pair that with a blue microphones snowflake for audio (their icicle is also primo.)

It's a good setup, maybe $30 for the cam refurb and another $50 for the snowflake. (Don't get sucked in by the blue eyeball - the popup webcam is almost trash and has whiney drivers.)

the lifecam seems the way to go, being HD and costing the same as a 1.3mp sensor webcam.
