so apparently the bell tower is under "immediate repairs", and has a big plywood wall around it. They have given it an estimated completion date of May 20th, almost a week after graduation. Who is the world plans construction on the bell tower during the middle of graduation. I mean, who doesnt want their graduation pictures with their family with a plywood backdrop. What idiots

As to these 'immediate repairs' needed, my friend who is an architecture grad student said these repairs have been needed for atleast her time here at state (5 years).

We didn't get any pictures in front of the bell tower for our graduation- court of carolinas and the 1911 building were better backdrops in our opinion

"Good news. Our staff worked with the contractor and he worked extra hours and weekends to finish early. The project will be completed as of today."
