She doesn't have all the typical facial characteristics of FAS. She does, however, look like she has achondroplasia. One of the key features with FAS is a smooth philtrum, and you can see she still has one. They also have a thin upper lip and epicanthal folds...

I just want to say... if this woman is not there mentally, it's not because of her disorder. Having a skeletal dysplasia does not equal being mentally retarded (automatically, that is). I highly doubt this was over her not having the mental capacity to take care of her child.

This girl went to the school I teach at. I heard the baby was a midget too. All I know about her is she is LOUD and rarely at school.

And she is of average intelligence and ability. She does not have FAE or FAS. like the earlier poster said, she doesn't have the flat upper lip, lowered ears, or folds in the skin.
