Yeah I know they're merging but that will still take probably the 2 years I'll have a contract. Right now tmobile has a pretty good unlimited promotion for 79.99 and since I'm on the lowest iphone plan with no text plan for the same rate I figured it would be a good step. Also I need a gsm phone for travel so I can't do verizon 5/10/2011 1:40:10 PM |

Verizon offers a few blackberry and android phones that are dual-mode (cdma and gsm). And the iphone coming out later this year may also be dual-mode 5/10/2011 2:01:20 PM |

Well I've been on campus the last year with tmobile and never have had a problem. Really I can't remember anywhere in particular around here that the service is poor. 5/10/2011 2:34:51 PM |

I get 4g everywhere in raleigh except like basements of buildings downtown, and everyone always revels in how fast my phones internet is. I believe one when using my phones wifi said "holy shit I think this is faster than my internet at home"
Don't go home to your cornfield. You won't get service
