Motherfucks making it hard for me to pay them...now why would that be?

Joshua: First, let me tell you a little bit about the enrollment process and the time frame for it to take effect.
Joshua: If you decide to enroll, a letter will be issued to you that includes a form for you to complete and return to us. In addition to the completed form, you will be asked to send in a voided check, deposit slip and / or a letter from your bank.
Joshua: You may choose to receive the letter by mail or by fax.
Joshua: Please allow as many as 14 days if you choose to receive the letter by mail.
Joshua: Please allow as many as 10 business days if you choose to receive the letter by fax.
Joshua: About 10 days after Capital One receives your enrollment form and voided check, deposit slip and / or letter from your bank, we will send a confirmation letter to let you know that we are processing your request.
Joshua: After your request is processed, it will take 4-6 weeks for your first ACH Credit Card Program payment to be made.
"

Two weeks to get a letter. 10 more days to let me know they've keyed some numbers in. Up to a month and a half after that for the first payment? This shit took 3 days with TD Ameritrade and it was done entirely from the comfort of my interweb chair.

I'm really surprised to hear that, I was able to setup enrollment with Capital One online as well as my mom's account. I would call them back on why you can't set this up yourself.

I'm talking about auto pay, not online access. You were able to do that online?

Yeah, you are right, I couldn't set that up online myself. I just have online access and can just make payments online with the bank account I have setup.

you should just stick to focusing on what intarweb chairs are best for - maturbation station

and you deserve the punitive interest accrual for trusting bin laden money as your credit card company at the excuse of necessitating snail mail at corporate convenience

chit chat financial advice ftw

The long enrollment process is for your own protection... and theirs.

Personally, I would wait a year before accepting anything by the name of "chance"

I also highly recommend only making ACH transactions toward paying the balance of your credit card at WiFi hotspots in public places, such as public libraries, coffee shops, airports, etc. Not only do you not have to pay for the bandwidth to an ISP (internet service provider) but you also avoid the pesky power bill increase for use of the electronics to support the connection.

Feel free to checkin with me often for more cost-cutting tips and financial advice.

Yeah, Discover was the same way. It's really kind of effe'd up, Capital One already has my bank account information linked to my credit card. Is it really necessary to send in another voided check and a signature when I've already done it once. This should be 3 clicks max.

Capital One is just a terrible company. At least in regards to credit cards.

Hey chance.

Meet the man that stole your information by rummaging through the trash or being employed by Capital One.

I think you'd appreciate that you'd be notified the long way before someone has COMPLETE CONTROL of DIRECT ACCESS to your BANK ACCOUNT without your signature.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or failed to communicate the point you're trying to make. Would you like to try again?

What part is unclear? I thought I placed it on your level of comprehension. Show me where you got lost.

All of it? I don't get the point you're making? Are you saying them going through this process is preventing identity theft or causing it? It isn't apparent what verbal diarrhea you've spewed here.
