This one is really mild, but back in the day Tom Souter would always have these annoying asides during the sports segment - usually it was some animal doing something stupid. One day he flashed up a clip of a car accident - looked like it was taken from a helicopter. Then he said -"it's Pam Saulsby on the beltline." They cut back to Pam Saulsby after his segment and she said "that is NOT funny " and when they came back from commercial Pam Saulsby wasn't there for the final segment where they do the signing off chatter like they always do.

I never could find a clip on youtube or wherever, this was back before every little thing was posted on the internet. I can only assume that Pam Saulsby had a wreck that morning and they were either showing the actual wreck in that clip or showing some other wreck to rub it in. I'm guessing the former.

^Wow. Wonder what the back story is to that one.
