and i don't quite get how you can know that "11" is what comes next, but not understand why (unless it was a quiz and you saw the answer rather than determining it yourself)

its a double number
you then add one
single number
add two
double number
add 3
single number
add 4... this give you 11 as others have stated.

so 11, 11, 16 would be the next 3 I figured that was easy to see
