Here's an idea: cancel both of these shows and restart Firefly.

YES I KNOW I'M 10 YEARS LATE FOR THAT SHOW BUT I JUST STARTED WATCHING IT AND WANT MOAR!!

1) Bobs Burgers is actually awesome

2) Why the hell does this have to be a cartoon? I mean it couldn't be any cheaper than to actually do this live action.

3) I liked Napoleon Dynamite but this looks very disconnected from the humor of the movie.

4) Speaking of Fox striking while the iron is hot: http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/05/16/fox-developing-reboot-of-the-flintstones/

Granted I work for Fox and all, but I was really excited to see it today during the Fall 2011 preview.

They have some good shows coming (and a few not so great lol)

Clearly you haven't heard about ABC's awesome schedule featuring such shows as "Good Christian Bitches" and "Don't Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23". CBS has some gems too such as "The Rememberer".

Bobs Burgers it's goddamn terrible - their best episodes are equivalent to the worst american dad episodes

That said, this looks worse

maybe the actors don't have the time to all get together and film it, but do have the time to hit up their local recording studio to do their parts

[Edited on May 17, 2011 at 8:40 AM. Reason : i know that dude from the drew carey show is on outsourced and does the batman cartoon currently]

Just give the rights of Firefly to Whedon/Fillion...they've both said they would totally take Firefly to webisodes.

Other than Fringe I avoid this network like the plague

They should just make another movie... wasn't the original movie really low budget?

Honestly I love Napoleon Dynamite (the movie) but I don't see this cartoon being any good.

Bob's Burgers is the funniest goddamn cartoon on TV now and I will feed any troll who says otherwise.

They were just waiting on everyone on the cast to realize the movie was terrible and this was all they had left to make money.

Bob's Burgers is a good show

you fuckers are probably the ones who prefer Brendon Small to Loren Bouchard

you'd rather have Metalocalypse style violence than the gentle, wry cynicism of a Coach McGuirk

Fox can make some serious duds. That Napoleon Dynamite preview is just horrible. Seth McFarlane's cartoons are all about fast-paced wit and visual gags. Napoleon Dynamite (the movie) was composed of awkward pauses, slow dialogue, and goofy-yet-subtle body language.

Jonah Hill's Allen Gregory though, seems worth watching. It's totally derivative of other comedies, but the preview convinced me that it has some decent writing. Also, it's not MacFarlane this time.
