Pretty sure it comes back in September. Rockmond Dunbar is going to be good as the new sheriff.

Jacks came to easy riders to sign some autographs when they came into town. He showed up with his head shaved driving a kia.

Just when I thought this episode was uneventful... Who was the one lense dude in the jail? And what did the note to Gemma say?

The note Gemma read was from Maureen to Jaxs and said something about "you should know your father for the man he was" and the one eyed dude is the one stripper ladies husband who's been behind bars the whole series.

^^ Ahh okay thanks. Thats what I thought, but I wasnt 100%.

I think this season has good potential, I want to know what the deal is with the guy heading up the investigation, he definitely is odd. And he wasn't shown in any of the previews for this season... very interesting.

"Jackson,

the truth about your father is in the papers. You should know him like I did"

that is exactly what the note said- haha I opened this thread as I was watching this

Also, I was wondering- what is the connection Uncer has to Gemma and Clay? Other than helping the club out and stuff... it seems like they might have been childhood friends or something

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayne_Unser#Link_to_Gemma_Teller_Morrow

Quote :
"Unser knew Gemma from a young age. He often refers to Gemma as "leaving Charming when she was sixteen and showing up 5 years later with a baby and a biker gang". There is obviously a relationship between Unser and Gemma than runs deeper than the typical small community familiarity. In the season two finale Unser after picking Gemma up from a crime scene was seen holding Gemma's hand and asks "where are we going?" Gemma replied: "I don't know". The two drove off out of the Charming borders in a Police Cruiser."

it's always felt more like a 'daughter i never had' or 'father i always needed' relationship to me than anything else.

renewed for season 5.

Sutter always said he had a storyline for 7 full seasons that would come full circle. Here's to that becoming ever more a reality.

anyone else hear the branch crack and a "thud" as if something/someone hit the ground?

I can't imagine they will let this story line go so easily.

I am enjoying this as well but I have a hard time buying Juice's motivation for working with the cops in the first place. He's stealing coke from the club because he's afraid they'll find out his dad is black? Bullshit.

if the club found out juice believes that they would kick him out of the club... and i'm not talking about being kicked out of some social club. remember season one... "fire or knife?" The club is Juice's entire life, and now he thinks that he has betrayed them.

yeah I'm well aware of the reason they gave , I just think it doesn't make any sense. Wasn't the Arizona chapter of SOA composed mostly of latino gentlemen? I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a black SOA member from one of the other california chapters in a previous season as well.

I hate the direction they are taking Clay... before his past sins could have been forgivable, but this season he is beyond any sympathy.

Sutter stated a few times on twitter and blog that he couldn't fit the entire final storylines into a 60 or 90 minute final episode and do the season justice. so FX agreed to give him another episode. This being SoA's best season to date and FX's most watched series I'd say they should give Sutter whatever he wants.

I liked season 2 way more than this season, so far at least. Good on them for dropping the whole "Juice is ratting on the club because they suddenly became racist" thing though, that was really fucking stupid.

i don't think he is ratting ratting on them because they are racist. The audience was never keyed in on this part of the club (which is a huge mistake by the writers) but Juice has had to know this was a stance by the Chapter long before joining and is/was working with the cops because the club is all he has. If they learned his true race and they decided to stick with their beliefs he would be immediately stripped of his patch and banned from everything he calls his family. I think losing everything forced his hand.

Now we'll see how Potter's mind game forces Juice's next move. Is he naive enough to believe he can really work with Potter to limit the kind of trouble the club gets in or will he played as the fool again?

I do agree the chapter's racial views were a weak point in that story, but i don't think it's the current focus for Juice's moves

One of the things I like about Kurt Sutter shows is that they'll try something out, realize it's not working and then move on and try something different. That certainly seems like what they're doing with the Juice/Feds story.

agreed. one thing i'm not too keen on is that we only have a handful of episodes left and the Sons still have no idea about Potter or this big case against them. If he is going to be lingering antagonist over multiple seasons then fine, but they haven't made that clear. If this story line is going to be wrapped up by season's end then at some point the two sides need to share some screen time and the Sons need to know they have a threat.

I enjoy having potter in the background. I guess with the sheriff and the fbi bitch she was all involved with everything and every cast member. This guy is playing a smart, behind the scenes, fucking shit up. Love this season so far.
