i need to buy tickets from rdu to denver for a trip in july. there are some very cheap prices right now (i've been watching for a month or so) but bing's farecast says that i should wait. their confidence has gone from 57% to 68% in the last hour.

TWW has a number of self professed e-travel gurus. Just throw up some dollar figures and our resident Carmen San Diego's will be able to tell you if its a good deal or not.

it depends how far out your trip is. 28-21 days from departure is typically the lowest prices, regardless of where you're going. If there are plenty of seats available on some of the flights you're interested in, wait.

Many websites, like travelocity, have price adjustments if a lower flight is found after you book, as well, within x amount of time.

rdu to denver july 23-30. we don't want to leave at the asscrack of dawn since we're an hour away...10am is fine. the place we're going is about a 3 hour drive from the denver airport & since it's a friend's house we don't want to show up there after 10pm either. getting back late isn't a problem. the flight i was looking at leaves rdu around 1020something & arrives back at rdu around 12am. $331
