Remember when Nick at Night showed actual old TV shows? Like I Love Lucy, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, The Monkees, Lance Link: Secret Chimp, and Green Acres? They didn't even show any shows from the 70s until the late 90s (Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, All In The Family).

I watched more of those shows than I did of pretty much every other show on then, except Tales From The Crypt.

One thing I don't miss....Moving. I moved like three times between 7 and 13 and without facebook/twitter/whatever, you just completely lost touch with people. 10 year old kids aren't gonna call each other long distance just to chat. I probably lost like 20-30 good friends just by moving away.

as corny as it sounds some of my fondest memories are walking around NC State with my dad. He'd show me all the buildings he took classes in (College of Design) and we'd sit in those cement things in the Brickyard and then we'd go to Brother's Pizza and play arcade games and eat pizza.

I grew up in a pretty rural area, but my neighbor had an in ground pool. During the summers, it was the gathering place for the kids and adults in the immediate area. I fell in that pool when I was 2 years old and game up grinning. My brother and I both learned to swim there and I plan on teaching my son to swim over there this summer

playing with my cousin up on this mesh thing my uncle had set up for me and my cousin to play in up in the trees. Part of it was horizontal and bouncy and part of it was slanted then vertical so you could climb it.
