What do you think of this car? Looks like what would come out if a fighter jet and a F1 car got it on. It's got a twin-turbo Mercedes V12 that produces 720 hp. 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and a 202 mph top speed. Only 12 are produced each year.

Funny how something so small weighs 2,800 lbs, DRY.
But it does have a 26 gallon fuel reservoir.

If you want to tame it down for city driving, there's a button that you push that will bring it down to a more pedestrian 550 hp. 6/4/2011 1:18:04 PM |

^ An SSR? Really? A prowler I can understand... But an SSR? Sir, I AM DISAPPOINT.
And aren't they called side view mirrors? Not rear?
Everything aside, I think it's a pretty fucking cool car. Not Subzero though. But pretty cool. Jeremy Clarkson would call it rubbish, which would hurt my feelings

I've got to admit that I like the Plymouth Prowler, even though it only had a V6 and was only available with an AT. I would buy one if I could, but I'm a poor med student. It was never designed to be a sports car, but instead a boulevard cruiser.

The only time you need rearward visibility in a vehicle like this is to see how far behind all the other cars are and indulge in feeling superior 6/4/2011 8:55:50 PM |

i guess no one has tested it yet, because 720 hp + 2800 lbs = 3.6 seconds sounds ridiculous.
i don't see why it can't do 3 flat.
known about it since they started making it... Spanish company, weird.
looks a bit funny, but i guess that wouldn't be a concern for anybody who could afford to own it and use it. iirc from a few years back, it costs something ridiculous like 500 grand euros, or maybe even more. 6/5/2011 6:30:12 AM |

Yeah I was expecting it to be faster, but then again maybe it's the gearing. The 9ff GT9 has 973 hp (with the most powerful engine) and weighs 2,920 lbs., yet it only does 0-60 in 5.1, but has a 254 mph top speed. It's replacement, the 9ff GT9-R, will do 0-60 in 2.9 and have a top speed of 257 mph. 6/5/2011 10:02:54 PM |
