^^ lol, that isn't even close to accurate. Anyone over 25 with a GPA on their resume has some issues. I went through 8 hours of interviews for my current job and they never once mentioned my undergrad degree and I'm not THAT old.

I think it depends on what your program is. Law School--if it's good, it goes on your resume. People ask for it regardless.

I had a 4.0 and never thought about putting it up there. Just no reason to IMO. Highlight your actual functional experience. GPA is just something to put on a resume that is lacking relevant experience.

^^ law school is different b/c a lot of people go right from undergrad with no job experienc

^^Agreed. That's why I said program matters. There are quite a few law students with job experience in between. But a lot of employers will only hire top 10% or 15%, so regardless of experience, you put it on there for law.

I put it on my resume for applying after undergrad.

And now that I'm freshly out of grad school the 4.0 is going on there. But I think it will only last for one job. I think people expect or at least accept it on there for people right out of school, otherwise it is probably a little odd.

It varies, sort of ... I have never been asked about a GPA at any stage in my career. They usually reveal GPA requirements in the job posting, if its necessary for them to know. Most of the time if they considered you enough for the position that they interviewed you they figure you probably can do the job, they just want to meet you, and try not to be too serious.

^ That's just for pay grade purposes. You will still end up making the same money whether you have a 2.5 or a 4.0, if you get the job.
