It's not like it's just sitting their linking to the Fox network all day long.

This shit is real.

yeah see...the world's gonna end tomorrow see

I heard his autobiography is worthless....consider your source. Although I do think Huffington won the battle because she got 300 mil for doing the exact same shit. Drudge didn't.

What the hell does an autobiography have to do with linking news stories from around the world?

You guys do know that Drudge links to outside sources right.

Yeah he puts nasty spin doctor nonsense on the titles, but the articles themselves are pretty troublesome. I'm not talking about some chicken shit political problem I'm talking about the big problems with everywhere. Just because you and I don't feel the affects doesn't mean they aren't happening.

Drudge Report was actually found to be the most unbiased news outlet of major news sites

Pretty good read, but I can't link to it since I'm on my phone

^ just follow Drudge on twitter

problem solved

I follow both Drudge Report and Matt Drudge

apparently Drudge can write but his autobio is supposed to be some kind of weird societal statement about absurdity...I actually am kind of curious about how bad it is even though I heard it's worthless since, as has already been said, he just links shit and doesn't write for the Report

FOX NEWS IS THE DEATH OF AMERICA

if it was any other country the government would have silenced them by now.

Here's my own little formula for analysis of the media I developed.

Luckily just about every major government agency has its own form of news service generated by their public affairs office.

So say, for example, you read a story about troops in Iraq/Afghanistan on Fox News. You can find the government's version of the same info on the Pentagon Channel. Crosscheck the stories and make your own conclusion.

Same thing applies to foreign media sources about the same topics like BBC and Al Jazeera. If you correlate info against various sources, the chorus of various slants tend to cancel each other out to give you just the relevant info.

Also, as a closing point, BlackJesus is a huge Bill O'Reilly fan.

Well yeah I could debate the essence of truth with you all night, but if you get news from sources whose owners are on competing and opposing ends of financial and political conflicts, you increase the spectrum of reporting and get a picture of what's going on in the world.

Whether or not I will ever in my life conclusively have my finger on the pulse of the world's media remains to be determined, so I hereby award you [-1] for the attempted generalization.

http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/washington-whispers/2011/06/16/book-liberal-media-distorts-news-bias

The article ThePeter is most likely referencing.

Of course this:

Quote :
""Media bias aids Democratic candidates by about 8 to 10 percentage points in a typical election. I find, for instance, that if media bias didn't exist, John McCain would have defeated Barack Obama 56 percent to 42 percent, instead of losing 53-46.""

is a rather dubious claim. And I would like to know how the "political quotient" scale was determined.

@Mappy The whole thing is sketchy, and it holds no real value as definitive "research". The claim you quoted is especially worrisome.

I just go to Drudge because it gives a good summary of whats happening in the world. I don't care how bias there search is what's happening in fact based articles is fact. If Syrian civlians are getting killed it's not some wierd spin. If Iranian leaders say there refining nuclear material for weapons they are (or are trying to since the Mossad are smarter than they are.)

I don't need the Drudge report to tell me that are current president is doing a shit job either, I can look at the State of the country for that. Not like the previous administration was any better either, it's like same shit, different day.

my favorite is the headlines on drudge and then someone posts everything here like 20 seconds later as if they are the only person that goes to the drudgereport.

Pretty much the only news I even bother with anymore, all the hard-hitting and bizarro news items always show up on his pages.

Watch the mass media news channels all day (and trust me, I have) and all you're going to hear about is Weiner's wiener, Casey Anthony's daddy problems, and the latest celebrity bullshit. Or the massive farcical catastrophic hype machine that is our political system these days.

Hell, Al-Jazeera has way more wordly, unbiased news, AND is more graphic and blunt. Not to mention the number of foreign hot news anchors from countries around the world.

I like the way he goes about creating his own narrative. And the way it then spreads through the internet.

And holy moley the juxtapositions between the text and the simple imagery.

It's breathtakingly effective in design.
