i use a cheap fusion razor. i shave once every 1-1.5 weeks. change the razor head like once a year.

never get razor burn

You can get Walgreens / Rite Aid Benzoyl Peroxide lotion and apply each night and after each shave, and you get no irritation redness -

I got one of those fog-free shower mirrors so I could shave in the shower. I think the steam helps cut down on irritation.

I'm also a HUGE fan of using shaving soap instead of gel. I'm applying it to my face with my hands, though, I'm too cheap for some stupid brush that will set me back like $30. I also shave with either a disposable (like twice and ditch it) or a gillette miltiblade deal (fuzion maybe?)

For my travel kit I keep a small hotel-sized bar of shaving soap and one of the shick 5 blades with the built in beard trimmer.

Must be black. I shave with hot/warm water and I have brilo pad hair I cut myself about 1/5 times
