i dress like everyone else in positions of authority in my field. khakis; button up, polo, or golf shirt, and boots if i'm on site. golf shirts are the best in summer because they keep you cool.

I'm a fan of dresses - but I need to find some good pencil skirts that don't come above my knees.

I have to wear pants a lot for my job... especially when I start in pediatrics. Can't really wear pencil skirts or dresses in that setting.

im in the construction industry and got in trouble for wearing skirts and dresses to work (the dealership)

one guy complained and i wish it was for something legit like the skirt was too short or the dress was too low cut. but everything was totally professional

so now i only wear my professional skirts & dresses when i go into the fancy corp office

i can't stand wearing khakis and a polo, i feel like a lesbian. i long to wear my pencil skirts and heels

i feel like a huge lez when i wear suits

i ONLY wear skirt suits and dress suits as a result

and i'm really picky about them, too

i'd also rather wear a cami under the jacket and just not take it off than a blouse. or if i wear a blouse, a sleeveless one without a crazy collar.

i prefer the separate look too (which i know is less professional and not acceptable on all occasions but if i can get away with it i go with the separates). like so:
