i ate a banana in my car after my work out while i was on my way to get some starbucks while listening to a conference call. bananas are usually where i draw the line with eating in my car unless i'm on a road trip.

I'll take a piece of fruit with me when I want a snack or I'll toss back a sub if I'm on the road and don't feel like stopping, but if I pick up food and am taking it home to eat I keep my fingers out of the bag until I get home where I feel I can properly enjoy it. I just don't get that excited about french fries that I have to start eating them as soon as I get them.

When a passenger does it I secretly think they have no self control and they're probably going to touch my upholstery with their greasy fingers because anyone who was raised to think it's necessary to dig in as soon as the bag lands in their lap probably wasn't raised to appreciate a non-greasy car interior.

It's $19 for me there. Up from $18 last year. I usually give them about $22 though.

I quit going to barbers 6+ years ago due to a string of poor haircuts, so I was used to paying ~$25 + $tip at salons. Ed at Professional has been cutting my hair this whole year because I've been keeping it really short and he has never let me down. I assume a big part of the cost is the high rent in Cameron Village. In any case, it's cheaper than a salon and I'm not going to worry too much about paying $8 more than other barber shops as long as I can get a consistently good cut.

^^ Well, I guess my point is that if someone appears "fat", then it's probably a result of them enjoying food so much, not the other way around.

I'd much rather hear a large person discuss food than hear them talking about this year's hottest workout trends, or something of that nature.

I've heard the argument that fat people don't really enjoy food as much as thinner people and that's why they are fat. Because they keep eating in an attempt to feel that satisfaction. They might be hooked on eating and get addicted to feeling super full, but get less enjoyment out of the food itself. I see a lot of logic in that.
