I never considered going out to a bar or with friends a date. Set plans, with dinner/movie/whatever = date.

I don't have a need for a specific date night, but maybe after kids and shit. Now we are free to just leave when we want. I do like to plan ahead though so I can look forward to the date all week.

The first time me and peter went out together I paid for my own food so I don't know if it counts as a date. We did sit and talk for 2 hours on the patio though.

we typically do dinner and a movie every wednesday, sometimes we change it up to tuesday or thursday, but not usually. we have dates other nights as well, but not too often. and every time we go out it isn't a date, and we rarely do separate checks, sometimes he pays, sometimes I pay, but mostly he pays

like even when we go out to bars sometimes i pay and sometimes he pays. there we rarely do separate because that is a hassle and annoying

i just don't really put much thought into it, i guess.

yesterday we saw a movie and i paid for me and he paid for him. but we went together. i guess we are the weird ones

if we go and get food at the movies normally one person buys the tickets and one person buys the snacks.

we split checks a lot....because we are both broke. Although, he does cover me more often than not. But when we really want a nice dinner, it just seems more fair to split checks if it's not a special occasion.

Or for dinner and movie, he gets dinner and I pay for the movie and subsequent beers.

I highly recommend the ultimate guy schedule:
sex first, nap/chill time at the house, awesome dinner, then go party

The mystery dinner was fun. You really have to be willing to play along though. The guy beside me just sat there and complained. I walked around interrogating and threatening people, since we were in the mob. It was pretty obvious who the killer was.

Anyway, bump because we are going to see trans-siberian orchestra tonight. Pretty sure this is the most excited I've been all year.
